End-of-Life Doula Training & Certificate Program
With Deanna Cochran, RN
Certification is but ONE tool in a comprehensive toolbox. Relying solely on this credential alone will not make you a great doula. This mistake may give the doula false confidence and the family less than stellar care.
Learning in-depth material without guidance is meaningless, as we all know too well in every field we can name. We must be guided by an experienced pathfinder who knows the terrain or we have a high chance of still feeling inadequate and staying in our living rooms instead of out in the community where we want to be.
Winging it is NOT the solution to caring for others at the end of life. This work is too important for that.
Continued success in achieving your goals is NOT only about certification and head knowledge. If that's all you want, this program may not be for you.
Plus, if you want to also develop a part-time practice 'just in case' you decide to work in your community, you need way more than basic doula skills.
That's why I dive into ALL the critical to understand components inside my program.
I've served at the bedside of the dying as a hospice nurse since 2000, worked as an end-of-life doula since 2005, trained doulas since 2010 and developed corporate end-of-life doula programs since 2015. I have spent 10s of 1000s of dollars on personal and business development. I can confidently tell you that there is NOTHING LIKE THIS out there. So, I created for you what I would have wanted when I began and along my journey.
